Terms of use

These terms apply to the howl.marketing website and to the Howl QuickBooks connector. They are between you and Howl Marketing Inc. (“Howl”, “we”). By using the website, you agree to them.

If you are a client with a signed agreement with us, that agreement governs our work together. Where it conflicts with these terms, the agreement wins.

1. The website

The site describes our work and lets you contact us. Everything on it is general information, not advice for your situation.

The design, text, code and graphics are ours. Work shown in our case studies belongs to the clients it was made for and appears with their permission. Please don’t copy or reuse any of it without asking.

You agree not to misuse the site. That includes attacking or overloading it, trying to reach parts of it that aren’t public, and using the contact form to send spam.

Links to other sites are there for convenience. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for them.

2. Privacy

How we collect and use personal information is set out in our privacy policy.

3. The Howl QuickBooks connector

The connector is a private tool Howl built to manage its own accounting in QuickBooks Online. Only Howl staff use it, and only on Howl’s own QuickBooks companies. It is not licensed, sold or made available to anyone else, and no one else may connect it to a QuickBooks company.

Howl can disconnect it at any time from the Apps section of QuickBooks Online, which stops its access immediately.

Intuit is not a party to these terms and isn’t responsible for the connector. QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online are trademarks of Intuit Inc.

4. No warranty

We build and run the website carefully, but we provide it as it is. We don’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or suited to a particular purpose.

5. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Howl is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the website, such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

6. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute goes to the courts of Alberta.
